     Welcome to the official website of Billy Lord Books. We have several goals for the website but primarily it is designed with one simple feature in mind: communication. This is the place where I can talk to my readers and they can talk to me.

     I am excited to have a platform to present my writing and to offer my free short stories.  Peruse my Broken Pen Blog and join me in championing other worthy causes like animal rescue and the human-canine connection, which is an underlying theme in most of my books.

Billy Lord

      Billy Lord is a long time writer that lives in Colorado. His love of the state and the Southwest shows up a lot in his writing, and is especially evident in the popular “Blue” series books.  Billy is a voice in support of animal rights and the “Blue” book series has been steadily advancing awareness of many of the current issues surrounding rescues, shelters and the animal care community. He credits his late wife with teaching him and their daughter about the inherent responsibility we have to all species on the planet, resulting in the adoption and rescue of seven dogs, four cats, a bird, a bunny, two gerbils and a wayward caterpillar named Bert.
